This wine has a deep ruby-red, purplish colour. Robust and full-bodied in taste, a slightly herbaceous aroma with notes of raspberries and blueberries.
Originally from Bordeaux, Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the most cultivated varieties in the world. Born from a cross between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc, it has been planted in Italy for more than a century.
The grapes are harvested by hand to preserve all their authenticity. The must is then fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks after which the skins are macerated for a few days to give colour and good body to the wine.
Excellent with red meat, game, soups, pasta dishes with rich sauces, Tuscan ham, young or mature cheeses, and also summer barbecues.
