History
The Sauvignon Blanc is an aromatic grape from the Loire valley which is also very widespread in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. It has found a favourable terrain on the thin, gravel slopes of Valais. Harvested late, it forms part of the composition of certain liqueur wines such as the Or de Conthey.
