Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon
The colour is deep ruby. On the nose, notes of ripe red fruits combined with a melted, toasted woodiness. it has attack is dense, moving toward fattiness and roundness. The finish is powerful, presenting harmonious tannins and good length.
Property of the vineyards of Dourthe, Château Reysson lies on a demanding clay and limestone soil of Haut-Médoc, which provides ideal conditions for the cultivation of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The wine is made according to the principles of “rational control” and the wine is then aged 12 months in oak barrels with approximately 15% new oak.
Excellent with red meat, game, soups, pasta dishes with rich sauces, Tuscan ham, young or mature cheeses, summer barbecues.
