With its golden colour, this Pinot Gris has a complex bouquet hinting of of plum, honey, candied fruit and spices. Both tender and strong, it is soft and creamy on the palate. After gently being deposited in oak barrels and fermented for more than 12 months, this wine gives a wonderful restoration of the unique flavours of this grape.
Planted in Valais in the nineteenth century, the variety Pinot Gris, just as Pinot Noir, is compact and enjoys the hottest and most airy Valais hillsides.
For over 12 months and after gently placing it in barrels, this wine is aged in new oak barrels, which gives it a good ageing potential and a woody flavour that blends beautifully with the original flavours of this Pinot Gris.
This wine is perfect as an appetiser, goes well when consumed with pastry and ice cream.
